Transportation – Air

From Reading there are links to a number of airports and there are further links from Calcot coachway.

The nearest main airport of London Heathrow which is served by a regular Rail-air coach operating from Reading Station. Journey time about 40 mins. You can also travel by rail via London Paddington and Heathrow Express.

London Gatwick airport is served by an hourly direct rail service from Reading operated by Thames trains and occasional trains operated by Virgin Trains.

There are direct coach links to Heathrow and Gatwick from Calcot coachway.

Southampton (Eastleigh) airport is served by rail from Reading although in many cases one needs to change at Basingstoke.

Birmingham International airport is served by a roughly half hourly service from reading by Virgin Trains.

There are also convenient direct links to Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff airports.
